This season’s bounty came from King Farms in Knoxville, IL, which is a literal stone’s throw away from Walnut Grove Farm (if you have a good arm).

Is the piece dishwasher safe?

No, please hand wash with warm soapy water to prolong the life of the piece.

Does the piece function as a cutting board?

Absolutely! You might be surprised I receive this question frequently, because, naturally, people are reluctant to cut anything on such beautiful grain. With that said, board butter can be a great way to boost the longevity and aesthetic appeal of the board (or any piece for that matter).
